"Wayne's awareness of project management is complete; he accurately recognizes the order in which things must evolve and offers prudent suggestions as to what should be done. Moreover, Wayne has an unusual gift to discretely mediate the technical and economic confrontations that inevitably arise. I am surprised at, and slightly envious of, how he manages to do this in such a way that parties emerge with a 'win-win' perspective." |

Solving problems for our process and hospital/healthcare clients is one of our strengths. We accomplish this by listening carefully to the client and his or her team, asking relevant questions and finally coming up with a number of solutions appropriate for the client. By utilizing the wealth of experience our staff possesses to glean a good solution for our clients, we are able to quickly assist them in a cost-effective manner. Once we agree on the solution, we can take that solution through the design and into the construction.
The following are examples of some of the projects that required creative solutions to achieve the client request results:
- Bottling Plant: Reduced noise at a bottling plant so that the noise level on the production floor complies with OSHA standards.
- Biomass Facility: Determined the pressure and flows required across a packed bed for odor control.
- Electronics Manufacturing Facility:
- Evaluated a Hot DI process piping systems for leaks that occurred during expansion.
- Provided a fuel tank analysis to solve the problem of removing approximately 200,000 gallons of #6 oil from a 650,000-gallon above-ground storage tank (AST) which was allowed to cool prematurely.
- Film Manufacturing Facility: Provided the analysis and design of a clean room using a solid state system to control temperature and humidity for packaging of film with an internal battery package.
- Office Building: Reduced the noise level in the building from the existing level to a lower acceptable level for the office tenants.
- Paper Production Facility: Responsible to develop, design, construct and start-up hot oil roll paper stretch mill for a paper plant. This paper stretch mill was built in a modular fashion in such a manner that it could be taken apart and shipped across the country in three sections and then reassembled.
- Pharmaceutical Facility: Developed a quasi-clean room to manufacture pharmaceuticals and yet provide easy access in and out of the space for high production.
- Wallpaper Manufacturing Plant: Increased the speeds of printing multicolor wallpaper, while simultaneously improving the resolution and product quality.
